Company "Atlas" participated in the Specialized Conference "Automation. HCS (Housing and Communal Services). Ukraine-2009"

Company Atlas, the leading Ukrainian system integrator, participated in the Special Conference "Automation. Housing and Communal Services. Ukraine-2009" that was held on 21st October in the exhibition center "ACCO International".

The event was organized with the support of the International Society of Automation (ISA), Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine, Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Kyiv General Directorate of Housing.

The work of the conference was held in four thematic sections: engineering networks and systems, transport infrastructure, energy saving, housing management.

Different solutions for thermal and gas power grids, water and sewage systems, as well as the solutions for monitoring and upgrading of existing stock were presented in the section of engineering networks and systems. Energy and resource saving technologies and equipment, automated systems for integrating energy resources were investigated in the energy saving section. Housing management was considered in the context of automated systems: supervisory control and management systems, systems of the automating calculations of the housing enterprises, municipal billing.

ATLAS company attracted the attention of listeners to the problem of energy saving. Head of the Innovation Division of the Service Center of the Department of telecommunication and engineering systems of JSC Atlas A. Yaroshenko in his report "Economical Lighting" introduced a new solution for the Ukrainian market with the use of the equipment Easy System Light. Producer and developer of this product is an Austrian company Energia System Ltd. This company has produced and improved this equipment already for 15 years, which has successfully been used for more than 4 hundred enterprises in Europe. Easy System Light allows you to save up to 40% of electricity with the using of cheap traditional lighting such as incandescent lamps, halogen lamps, fluorescent lamps, including high blood pressure lamps. This equipment allows increasing the term of "Mean time between failures (MTBF)", for example, for halogen lamps, up to 300%. Also one of the important parameter, which is increasingly capturing the attention in all countries and recently in Ukraine, is a significant reduction of CO2 emissions in the atmosphere.

A report "Billing systems for enterprises supplying bulk services (gas, water, heat, electricity). Solutions and project experience of the company Atlas" of T. Levchenko, Project manager of Software Systems Department of the JSC "Atlas" aroused keen interest. T. Levchenko spoke about the successful long-term experience of implementation and operation of the billing systems developed by the Atlas in the large companies supplying services to the mass and about the potential of the using of the billing system core for the automation of the technology processes in the HCS.
